Shaney-Lee Steals Hearts on “The Voice Kids” UK with Adorable Audition singing John Denver
This is the most adorable audition ever.
On her farm in southwest England, seven-year-old Shaney-Lee lives among a variety of animals, including hens, goats, and horses. He loves country and western music, of course. For his blind audition on “The Voice Kids” UK, John Denver’s rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads” was the ideal choice, given his affinity for the countryside.
At one time, judge will.”Have you ever been on a horse?” i.am inquired. With assurance, Shaney-Lee said, “I rode here today.” This minor detail heightened the charisma he had previously displayed onstage.
The audience was captivated by his adorable appearance the instant he entered the stage. His cuteness was obvious to the judges right away, but they were about to discover his singing abilities.
The judge Danny Jones proclaimed, “That is the cutest voice I’ve ever heard!” as he began to sing, “Life is old there, older than the trees, younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze, country roads, take me home…”
Everyone in the crowd was spellbound. They got to their feet, started clapping, and some even teared up inside the first twenty seconds.
Among the 7–14 year olds featured on “The Voice Kids” UK, Shaney-Lee’s endearing personality shone out. He is “definitely an older person in a little man’s body,” according to his mom.
Pixie Lott was eventually overwhelmed by the adorableness and couldn’t help but show it.
