Malya, 10, made a strong impression on The Voice Kids Germany with her sassy rendition of Anastacia’s “I’m Outta Love.” The schoolgirl was more than capable of handling the verse, which calls for a strong low register and the appropriate amount of attitude. It’s remarkable that someone so young could perform the dancing hit with such confidence and sonority, but Malya did it effortlessly and stylishly.

Additionally, she demonstrated her ability to transition between the more assertive passages and the delicate voices in the bridge with ease. The judges began to vibe with the performance as soon as they heard the first line that impressed them.

Judges Michi Beck and Smudo were the first to turn their chairs in Malya’s favor as she nailed the chorus. Álvaro Soler, the Spanish-German star, rapidly trailed in their footsteps. The judges were all belting out the chorus as she went on. Before long, Malya had a clear sweep when Lena Meyer-Landrut and Wincent Weiss both turned their chairs.

Malya had a clear sweep as Meyer-Landrut and Wincent Weiss had both rotated their chairs. Malya had a strong stage presence and a wonderful voice, which allowed her to truly command the audience. It’s not often that you see judges on The Voice getting up and moving on the dance floor with her after they had turned their chairs around. Malya made an impression later in the fights round with her rendition of Pink’s “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.”

When Malya revealed to the judges that she was just ten years old after her audition, they were astounded. Her rendition of “I’m Outta Love” was so well received by the judges that they immediately requested an encore.

Malya consented, and the five judges went onstage to dance and sing with the youthful talent, making for a truly joyous occasion. As everything was happening, Malya’s family was jubilant on the stage’s edge.

After speaking with Beck and Smudo, the Stuttgart schoolgirl revealed that she had studied singing before learning to speak. She clarified that she first sang wordsless melodies to accomplish this.

When Meyer-Landrut questioned Malya about her first song, she replied that she was a “huge Elsa fan,” thus her parents undoubtedly heard “Let It Go” a lot at home.
