He suffered a huge loss. I don’t care what you think about Blake Shelton, he didn’t deserve this

In a touching eulogy, Blake Shelton paid respect to Joe Bonsall, a friend of his from 1973 until 2024 when he was a member of The Oak Ridge Boys.

Posting a photo of the two of them singing, Blake took to Instagram Stories to share his sadness over the news of Joe Bonsall’s passing. He went on to say, “I’ve never seen Joe without a smile on his face and bursting with energy.” Of all the people I’ve ever met, he enjoyed singing the most.

The degenerative disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) took Joe Bonsall’s life. It wasn’t until January 2024, four years after he started fighting the sickness, that fans found out about his condition.

After Joe and Mary Ann tied the knot, they welcomed two daughters, Sabrina and Jennifer, as well as numerous grandkids and great-grandchildren into the family.

*I See Myself*, Joe’s book, is scheduled for release in November; he was also an outstanding author. In loving memory of Joe, the Oak Ridge Boys—the musical group responsible for such classics as “Elvira” and “Bobbie Sue”—keep on performing as part of their American Made: The Farewell tour.
