Indian tycoon Vijay Mallya possesses a ‘White House in the sky’ atop a skyscraper.
Unless you’re a devoted Formula 1 enthusiast, chances are you’re unfamiliar with the name Vijay Mallya.
Once upon a time, the billionaire owned the Force India F1 team and was renowned for living an extravagant lifestyle.
Mallya’s array of luxury possessions included yachts, private jets, classic cars, and, of course, mansions.
The mansion, spanning two levels, is believed to be entirely separate from the other units in the tower and even boasts two elevators exclusively for Mallya’s use.
Interestingly, reports suggest that Vijay Mallya hasn’t had the chance to set foot in the mansion.
The construction of the billionaire’s playground coincided with his mounting financial troubles.
Mallya defaulted on $1 billion in bank loans and has been a fugitive in the UK since 2016, while the Indian government attempts to extradite him to face fraud and money laundering charges.
Regarding his F1 team, Force India, even though the name no longer exists, some of the team’s assets were purchased by Lawrence Stroll, father of F1 driver Lance Stroll.
Among other endeavors, Stroll revamped Aston Martin, including the AMR team that assisted in developing the Valhalla supercar.
One of his most controversial possessions is a $20 million mansion built atop a 400-foot skyscraper, resembling the White House.
This isn’t a joke – he indeed owns it – and it bears a striking resemblance to the concept mansion designed for Cristiano Ronaldo.
In the city of Bengaluru, India, the majestic mansion belonging to Vijay Mallya sits atop UB City’s Kingfisher Towers, a luxurious project erected on the former site of his ancestral home.
Mallya co-owns the 34-story Kingfisher Towers, occupying 4.5 acres of land and comprising 81 units across three blocks, providing ultra-luxury apartments.
Perched atop the building is a mansion replica of the White House, featuring its own helipad, wine cellar, gardens, salon, gym, indoor heated pool, outdoor infinity pool, and an array of other luxuries, all boasting breathtaking 360-degree views of the city.
